Agnieszka Brzezińska – contemporary painting
The search for positive and simple images from life led me to see a simplified and transformed world. We are too weak to always recognize this real world. But this world exists. The truth is visible everywhere. It through the surface of the so-called real reality. Wherever I am moving or at rest, I process the seen image into a structure. Read more.
Woman in structure
The theme is a poor woman whose pitcher full of oil has never run out (1 Krl 17:10-16). Gently muttered with heavily saturated roses in the image speaks of the presence of a delicate and humble woman, struggling with difficult living conditions. The dominant, enlivening green and its shades are the background for the image, while light brown is the clay in which the oil is stored.

Structure III
The search for positive and simple images from life led me to see a simplified and transformed world. Wherever I am moving or at rest, I process the seen image into a structure. It is based on movement and dialogue with others. People-to-people relationships build a positive space for artistic events.

The essence of the structure does not focus on its meaning or understanding, but on its feeling.

I am working on building a multi-layered composition, devoid of shapes and figures, speaking only by structure and color
belts and layers
All images are created on the principle of color layering, which in the end give an interesting composition in reception. This can be compared to painting several paintings and later applying one to another. The end result is structure, but it deserves special attention for creating and investigating it.
Images are an open composition, vertical and horizontal bulge occurs. Every part of an image is important and equally involved in its creation. In painting, I use paper, which gives great opportunities to obtain structures and is the starting point.Colors approach and move away from each other, merge and merge the image.

"sisters" series
Sisters is a new series of paintings created in the technique of oil painting. I draw inspiration from everyday life, everyday life, which I am very pleased about. Every day I rediscover and accept it as it is.
The inspiration for the paintings was the meeting of two sisters. One was deaf and the other was looking after her sister. They lived in the countryside and were engaged in the breeding of chickens. Over time, the work became a broader character study.

Drawing
Drawings made with stick and ink, colored with oil paints. The work done on paper is a continuation of the character study. They tend to be even more simple and raw in nature.
Drawings are characterized by a kind of universalism, so that everyone can find themselves in them. There are many ways to read them. The cycle started in 2015. Drawings included in the frame with passe-partout with glass.
